How to follow the rules for the new development trend of plastic molds

What is the development trend of the plastic mold processing profession? The direction of refinement, individualization, high efficiency, high lifespan, and intelligent development has always been mentioned and recognized by the profession. However, with the development of injection mold processing occupations and technological skills, many heads of mold processing plants believe that 3D printing plastic molds will become a new trend in the plastic mold processing industry.

Because the structure and shape of plastic molds are designed in various forms, there are almost no identical molds, but there can be several planning plans for the mold structure of the same product, and the best plan can be selected from the several planning plans. Therefore, mold planning must have a clear intention and a strong understanding of innovation. Mold planning must strive to optimize, planners must overcome the shortcomings of weak sense of responsibility and indifferent quality awareness, and establish the concept of “mold quality is planned”!

3D modeling requirements can be considered in detail, 2D drawing requirements can reach the production of parts, planners can not use the tense planning mission as a reason, in order to complete the mission without taking into account the quality and cost of the mold. The customer is first and the user is the top of the list, we can’t just talk about it. The real demand is to achieve the customer’s expectation, and the first thing to do is to start with the optimization of mold structure planning.

Wonder mold planning violates the guidelines. Mold planning must follow the criteria of reliable structure and top quality, satisfy customer expectations, and avoid premature mold failure. The structure, principle and requirements of the planned mold and parts are correct and reasonable, otherwise the result is likely to be catastrophic, as shown in the plan shown in Figure 3-3.

On the other hand, the use of 3D printing plastic mold technology can effectively shorten the production cycle of plastic mold processing.

3D printing molds can better save the preparation time for plastic mold production, and can get used to the planning of plastic molds more quickly, and then more satisfied with the constantly updated processing skills needs of the plastic mold processing profession. On the other hand, the use of 3D printing plastic mold technology can effectively reduce the production cost of plastic mold processing.

First, the 3D printing mold technology can respond sensitively to the requirements of different shapes and sizes of parts production; second, the 3D printing mold technology can make full use of the plastic mold processing data and prevent the waste of the processing data during the processing of the plastic mold. Especially with regard to some small-scale and messy-shaped plastic mold parts, the prominent advantage in saving plastic mold processing materials is more significant.
