[Plano, Texas, USA, March 10, 2020]Diodes Corporation (Nasdaq: DIOD) today announced the launch of the company’s first series of clock generators and buffers that comply with PCIe 5.0 specifications, and also meet PCIe 4.0 and previous generations Specification requirements. At present, the network equipment required by servers, storage devices, and data centers still use PCIe 4.0, but it must cope with the widespread use of PCIe 5.0 in the future. Therefore, this new product helps product developers enjoy forward compatibility during research and development.
The PI6CG33xxxC series of PCIe clock generators and the PI6CB33xxxx series of PCIe clock buffers contain eight and nine devices, respectively, providing a variety of options, such as output number and output impedance. The devices all have the characteristics of on-chip termination, no external termination resistors are required, thereby saving BoM cost and circuit board space.
The PCIe clock solution provides low jitter performance for PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 versions; as market product data transfer rates increase and supply products evolve, designers can use this solution to obtain higher performance more easily.
In order to further simplify the design process, PI6CG33xxxC and PI6CB33xxxx series product devices have programmable conversion rate and output amplitude for each output, provide a high degree of flexibility, and support different circuit board configurations. Under increasingly severe design conditions, this programmable product helps ensure that developers get the best performance under increasingly severe design conditions.
The supply quantity of PI6CG33xxxC PCIe clock generator and PI6CB33xxxx clock buffer is in units of 1000.
