According to foreign media reports, Keith Kressin, a former executive of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon computing platform, has recently announced his departure to join the AI ​​chip startup MemryX as the CEO.

Keith Kressin has more than two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Before leaving, he served as the senior vice president and general manager of Qualcomm’s computing and cloud division, managing Snapdragon product development and related business lines, including XR (augmented reality/virtual reality), Computing (PC/tablet), artificial intelligence and games.

Foreign media reports pointed out that Keith Kressin joined Qualcomm in 2008. He led the Snapdragon roadmap and strategic planning, and is responsible for all application processor technologies such as AI, GPU, CPU, camera, audio and memory. Before joining Qualcomm, Keith Kressin worked at Intel for eight years.

MemryX is an AI chip company established in 2019, dedicated to the research and development of AI chips that integrate storage and computing. Keith Kressin will lead the start-up company’s transformation from R&D to product marketing. The company’s chip products are expected to be mass-produced next year .
